Today’s article will represent you a female bagpiper from India called Archy J. It’s quite unusual for a woman to play the bagpipes, but it’s even more unusual that this woman is from Delhi in India. She made a cover from the ‘Party Dance’ from the “Titanic” movie. She is known as The Snake Charmer on the stage. She claims that bagpipes were all she ever wanted to learn how to play.

This interesting woman was a part of a rock/metal band. She was their vocalist. She even had a great job with a great salary when she decided that she needed to go to Scotland and learn how to play this instrument. She was very positive towards the whole process and believed that she could do it. She was only there for 10 days. 5 days were spent on tutoring and it still wasn’t enough.

It’s really interesting and unusual to listen to her playing those bagpipes. It’s a beautiful sound. She is very charming. Her gigs are visited and everyone is thrilled. She even plays ‘Someone Like You’ by Adele! Archy plays the bagpipes in a red tartan skirt which makes it all even more enjoyable.

She confesses that this instrument is very unlikely for the people in India. She decided it was her thing when she saw how Eluveitie, a Swiss folk metal band uses bagpipes in their songs. It is really something unseen, but very beautiful. From then on, she plays the bagpipes in different cafés and amazes people!
