Narrated by Hollywood actress Sigourney Weaver and the legendary Sir David Attenborough, Planet Earth is a wonderful nature documentary TV series produced by BBC One. It was launched in 2006 to critical and public acclaim, winning more than a few awards in the process.
Due to its popularity and this being the internet, a New Zealand comedy troupe called Viva La Dirt League decided to make a parody of the beloved series and we have to say that they’ve done a great job.
The parody even comes with a narrator who sounds almost like Sir David Attenborough which brings the whole experience even closer to the original. And, yeah, it focuses on nature – this time on the nature of the human’s mating ritual. Take a look at it below – it’s really hilarious!
Viva La Dirt League is a comedy group that originally started by releasing parodies of video games on YouTube. After getting millions of views and subscribers, their appetites have grown and the guys decided to broaden their view to more than just games.
Among their most popular videos is the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) parody. They have parodied other games as well and they’re really fun if you ask us. Just visit their YouTube profile for hours of fun! Check out the PUBG video here:
Thanks to the success of the PUBG parody, they’ve evolved from an amateur group to full-time content creators. Their number of subscribers is growing each day and we can’t see it stopping considering the quality videos VLDL produce. Way to go guys!
